Valentines Day! A very important day, my grandson Jonny’s birthday. He’s 15 today. Won’t be able to see him as he’s at school in Auckland but at least we saw him last weekend.
Shopping day today and we went to Kerikeri. Back to New World after trying Countdown last week. Worth going that bit further, more choice and someone always does the packing as well! Such a luxury as that doesn’t happen at home.
Sweet corn was $3.50 for 5 cobs and it was really good when I cooked some at teatime. Very sweet and tender.
