We went down to Long Beach in the afternoon.
I had hoped to have a swim but the waves were too big for me to venture in. There is still quite a swell coming in from the east so I just had a walk and a paddle. After an hour or so we went back to Russell. The sea always seem to be calm there as it is quite sheltered so I finally made it into the water. Wonderful!
When we got back yesterday we were greeted by a hibiscus which had flowered whilst we were out.
It seems that yesterday was hibiscus day as we noticed that all the ones in Russell seemed to have come into flower as well.
When we got back home Paul and Lavine had called in to see Rob so after having a chat with them, on the terrace, we left them to it.
